Job Responsibilities

Nannies – Your first and foremost responsibility is caring for the children.  Your childcare duties may include:

  • Newborn care
  • Bathing and dressing
  • Changing diapers
  • Potty training
  • Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks
  • Helping with homework
  • Organizing activities and play dates
  • Driving to school and after-school events
  • Doctor visits
  • Supervising indoor and outdoor play
  • Participating in outings, field trips, and creative activities
  • Traveling with the family

As a nanny, you may also be responsible for domestic tasks related to childcare, including laundry, ironing, cleaning up messes, and keeping children’s areas clean and neat, as specified in your employment agreement.

Housekeepers – You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining a neat, organized home.  Your job duties may involve:

  • Dusting and polishing furniture
  • Mopping and waxing floors
  • Vacuuming carpets and floors
  • Cleaning baths
  • Cleaning windows
  • Changing beds
  • Polishing silver
  • Cleaning baseboards and light fixtures

Other tasks such as grocery shopping or errands may be required, if specified in your employment agreement.
